This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled when you use WeddinPlanner. Please read it carefully. WeddinPlanner operates as a platform connecting you with wedding vendors and venues; the actual booking and cancellation terms are often set by the vendor or venue. This policy describes our own practices and what you can generally expect.
Submitting an enquiry through WeddinPlanner does not create a binding booking. It simply allows vendors or venues to contact you. No payment is taken by WeddinPlanner for enquiries. You may withdraw your interest at any time by not responding to a vendor or by informing them directly. We do not charge any fee for submitting or cancelling an enquiry.
When you book a service (e.g. venue, photographer, caterer) directly with a vendor—whether you found them on WeddinPlanner or not—the contract is between you and that vendor. Cancellation and refund terms are set by the vendor and may be outlined in their quote, contract, or terms. WeddinPlanner is not a party to that contract and cannot cancel or refund on the vendor’s behalf. We recommend that you always confirm cancellation and refund terms with the vendor before paying or signing.
If in the future WeddinPlanner processes payments (e.g. booking fees or deposits) on behalf of vendors, we will display the applicable cancellation and refund rules at the time of payment. Any refund in such cases will be subject to those rules and our payment partner’s terms. Currently, we do not process payments for vendor services; all payments are made directly between you and the vendor.
If we charge a fee for using our platform (e.g. premium listings or featured services), the cancellation or refund of that fee will be governed by the terms shown at the time of purchase. Generally, such fees may be non-refundable once the service has been provided or the listing period has started, unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Vendors may occasionally cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any refund or alternative arrangement is between you and the vendor. We encourage vendors to honour their commitments and to communicate clearly with you. If you have a significant issue with a vendor you found on WeddinPlanner, you may contact us and we will endeavour to assist where possible; however, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome or refund.
Depending on your location, you may have statutory rights to cancel certain types of contracts (e.g. distance selling or consumer contracts) within a cooling-off period. Those rights apply to your contract with the vendor, not with WeddinPlanner, unless we are the seller. We recommend that you check your local consumer laws and the vendor’s terms for details.
